The Double Helix Kaleidoscope Set includes the scope, and 2 interchangable wands, with a leg attached so that the scope will stand by itself. (These are the new double helix wands that contain 2 never mixing colors to increase the colors and image quality...see detail of wands at bottom). The inside of the scope is configured into a 2 front surfaced mirror 12 point circle with the 3rd side in fluted walnut. Wands operate on a gravity flow, or turn the scope sideway and twist one or both wands to control the intense medallion of color. The outside of the kaleidoscope is constructed in 2 woods (padauk-the red wood and oak.......both beautiful). The band saw is used to cut curved sections out that show off the non-traditional joining. One scope collector remarked that I was using the multi woods as my decoration.
