The Globe Scope is one of the most popular of all our scopes. It is a great kaleidoscope for collectors to add to their collection, and an excellent beginning scope to start a collection . It is rare that such a scope is produced at such a low price point and high quality. Seven exotic and domestic burls are used and inlaid on the case to provide beauty on the outside. The viewed object is a American artist blown Christmas ornament. For those that have an ornament (glass orb) collection this is a unique way to show additional ornaments. Adjustment for size (larger or smaller ornaments) is provided by an adjusting thumb screw. The colorful glass orb sits on a wind-up base that will turn the object in a continuous motion. A constant change of the viewed mandala is provided by a silent windup movement. Turning the wheel in a clockwise direction will provide approximately 4 minutes of viewing pleasure. The glass orb is movable so that there is no need to ever have the same image appear twice.

Left: Each scope is a different combination of woods. The color you see is the natural color, straight from the tree. There are no stains used. The wood is coated with an oil to bring out the beauty of the grain and then it is given a protective coat and then handrubbed to a fine finish.
